Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your account on FANTABOOMER, the fantasy football app on historical seasons developed by Composing Studio Srl, from either the Android and iPhone app or the website. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
1From the app
Step 1
Open FANTABOOMER and tap the profile icon at the top right.
Step 2
Tap Delete your account.
Step 3
Type your email address to confirm and tap Delete permanently.
2From the website
Step 1
Sign in with the same account you use in the app.
Step 2
Open Preferences and, at the bottom, Delete your account.
Step 3
Type your email address to confirm and press Delete permanently.
3If you can no longer sign in
Write to us through the contact form or at info@composingstudio.com, from the address you signed up with: we will delete the account for you and confirm it, within one month at most and usually much sooner. We ask you to write from that address because it is the only way to know the account is yours.
4Your teams and your leagues
If you are the only administrator of a league with other members
Deletion stops and tells you which leagues would be left with nobody in charge. First appoint another administrator from Members, or delete the league. If you are the only member of the league, you can delete your account: the league stays frozen, is no longer visible to anyone and no longer contains data about you.
A team of yours that you manage together with others
It passes to the first co-manager who was added to the team, who becomes its owner with squad, credits, line-ups and results; any other co-managers stay co-managers. The team keeps playing without interruption.
A team of yours without co-managers
It stays in the league with its matches and results, and your name is replaced by «User no longer registered». A league administrator can assign it to another member.
A team you co-manage
You leave its management and the team stays with whoever already manages it: the owner and the other co-managers.
The team name
It stays as it is, because it is the name the team has in the other members' standings. If it contains your name or anything that identifies you, change it before deleting your account, or write to us and we will change it.
5What gets deleted
Your sign-in
The account no longer exists and you cannot sign in with those credentials.
First name, last name and email address
Your consent to promotional messages
The invitations you had received and not yet accepted
The phones registered for notifications
You will no longer receive any notification or email.
Messages you had sent us from the app
They remain without name or address.
6What remains, and why
The matches you played
Results, line-ups and standings of the leagues you took part in remain, because they are also the championship of the other members. Your name is replaced by «User no longer registered», and nothing remains that links that data to you.
The date and version of the privacy policy you had confirmed
They stay linked only to an internal identifier with no name or address, because the law requires us to be able to show that the policy was provided, and they can no longer be attributed to you.
If you sign up again one day, even with the same address, it will be a new account: previous leagues and teams do not come back. The details of how we process data are in the privacy policy.
