Come funziona FANTABOOMER?

Si sceglie una stagione storica di Serie A o di Premier League, si compongono le rose con un'asta fra amici e si schiera la formazione a ogni giornata. I punteggi non sono simulati: arrivano dalle partite vere di quell'anno, con i gol, gli assist e i cartellini reali dell'epoca.

FANTABOOMER è gratis?

Sì. Non c'è nessun costo e nessun abbonamento, e non serve una carta di credito: per creare un account basta un indirizzo email.

Su quali stagioni si può giocare?

Sulla Serie A e sulla Premier League dal 1980/81 in poi. Le stagioni più vecchie hanno una copertura dati parziale — gli assist mancano in buona parte delle stagioni prima del 2012/13 e le ammonizioni non sono disponibili per ogni annata — e i bonus che dipendono da quei dati sono dichiarati inattivi nel regolamento della lega invece di promettere punti che non arriverebbero.

Come si organizza l'asta?

Come preferite: al tavolo, con l'admin che chiama i giocatori e registra chi li prende, oppure ognuno dal proprio telefono, a chiamata, a tempo o a buste chiuse. Ogni squadra ha lo stesso budget e i crediti vengono scalati in automatico.

Che cos'è la giornata live?

È la giornata reale sorteggiata, riprodotta al rallentatore: i gol e i cartellini compaiono al loro minuto vero, spalmati sulle ore che la lega decide — sei, dodici, un giorno intero. Il punteggio di ogni squadra si muove insieme a loro, e al triplice fischio la classifica si aggiorna da sé.

Si può consultare l'archivio senza giocare?

Sì. Non serve far parte di una lega — basta un account gratuito — e ogni stagione importata è consultabile per intero: classifiche finali, calendario, tabellini partita per partita, capocannonieri e statistiche di ogni giocatore.

These terms govern the use of FANTABOOMER, the fantaboomer.com website and the Android and iPhone apps, provided by Composing Studio Srl ("we"), whose full details are at the bottom of this page. By creating an account or using the service you accept them: if you do not agree, please do not use it.

1What FANTABOOMER is

FANTABOOMER is a fantasy football game played on historical seasons of the Italian league: you create a private league with friends, run the auction, pick your line-ups and points are calculated on the matches actually played in that season. It is a pastime: it is not gambling, there is no betting and no money to be won.

Fantaboomer is an amateur, independent and completely free platform, created by enthusiasts for purely recreational and statistical purposes. The site is not-for-profit, carries no advertising and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any football club, sports league or professional footballer. All player names, statistics and historical data shown are purely descriptive and belong to historical sports reporting.

2Your account

True details

You need a personal account to play. The details you give us must be true, in particular an email address that is yours: that is where invitations and service messages arrive, and where you will write to us from if you lose access.

Credentials

You are responsible for what happens with your credentials. If you think someone else has them, change your password and let us know.

Deletion

You can delete your account whenever you like, on your own: the steps are on the Delete your account page.

3Cost

The service is currently free. If we introduce paid features in the future, they will be optional, we will show you the price before you buy, and they will be governed by specific conditions you will accept at that time. Nothing you already have will become paid without your consent.

4Leagues

Administrators

Every league is private and has one or more administrators: whoever creates it chooses the season and the rules, invites the players, manages the teams and can delete it. Decisions made within a league belong to its administrators and players, not to us.

Arrangements between players

Any arrangements between players — entry fees, prizes, forfeits — are a private matter between them, to which we are not a party. FANTABOOMER does not collect or handle money and does not guarantee anything league members promise each other.

Deleting a league

When an administrator deletes a league, we email them a copy of its main data. From then on the league cannot be recovered.

5Conduct

By using FANTABOOMER you agree not to:

Offensive names

Give teams or leagues names that are offensive, discriminatory, defamatory or that infringe the rights of others.

Someone else's or multiple accounts

Use someone else's account, or create more than one to rig a league.

Automated access

Access the service with automated tools, extract its data in bulk, circumvent its protections or interfere with its operation.

Commercial or unlawful use

Use the service for commercial or unlawful purposes.

If you do, we may remove the content, suspend the account or close it, depending on how serious it is, and where possible we will tell you why.

6Content

The software, graphics, the FANTABOOMER brand and the texts of the service belong to us or are licensed to us. We allow you to use them to play, for personal and non-commercial purposes, for as long as your account exists.

Historical data on matches, players and results come from public sources and are used only to make the game work. Names of players, clubs and competitions belong to their respective owners: FANTABOOMER is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any league, federation or football club. Ratings and points are a reconstruction for the game, not official data, and may contain errors or gaps, especially for older seasons.

The names you give your teams and leagues remain yours: you allow us to show them to the other players in the league for as long as the game requires.

7Availability

We do our best to keep FANTABOOMER running well at all times, but we cannot guarantee it: it may stop for maintenance, faults or causes beyond our control. We may change, add or remove features. Should we decide to shut the service down, we will announce it at least 30 days in advance.

8Liability

The service is free and provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, for data lost for reasons beyond our control, or for what happens between the players of a league. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer, nor our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

9Personal data

How we process your data is explained in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

10Changes

We may update these terms, for example when the service changes. If a change is substantial we will tell you before it takes effect, by email or in the app; if you keep using the service after that date, the new terms apply. You can delete your account at any time.

11Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. For any problem, please write to us first at info@composingstudio.com: most things get sorted out that way. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Bari (Italy); if you are a consumer, the courts of the place where you live remain competent, as provided by law.

This is a translation of the Italian terms; in case of any difference, the Italian version prevails.
